An international NGO helps people in Mali and Burkina Faso to become economically successful

With a string of coups, militant attacks, and mercenary groups maintaining their grip on power in parts of the Sahel, it’s become increasingly dangerous for international groups to do their work there. One organization that still helps communities in Mali and Burkina Faso is World Neighbors. Christope Ouattara, the West Africa Regional Director of the group, talks with VOA's Carol Van Dam about its work helping to teach villagers how to be successful in small business and personal finance.
