On Daybreak Africa: The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) is set to withdraw about 2,000 troops from Somalia by June 30. Security analyst Mohamed Mubarak, chairman of Hiraal Institute, a security research and analysis organization for the Horn of Africa, says the decision is timely because security in Somalia has improved recently.
