The US capital, Washington DC is home to one of the most vibrant African immigrant communities, many contributing to the socio-cultural landscape through their food culture, practices and lifestyle. Through her organization Dine Diaspora, Ghanaian American entrepreneur Nina Oduro is on a mission to connect and amplify African immigrant food culture and experiences, while working to assist and increase the visibility of Black women working in the food and beverage industry in the US.
