Sonny Side of Sports: Nigerian Rueben Chinyelu Shares Experience with Stade Malien Team in Basketball Africa League & More

On Friday's show, Muqbil Yabarow catches up with Reuben Chinyelu, a 19-year-old Nigerian player in the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Chinyelu talks about his experiences with NBA Academy Africa, his current BAL team Stade Malien and his reasons for choosing to play for Washington State after being heavily recruited by American colleges and universities. Stade Malien finished atop the Sahara Conference standings and qualified for the BAL Playoffs in May in Kigali, Rwanda. The BAL's third season will resume on April 26 when Nile Conference games tip off in Cairo, Egypt.
