Joint naval exercises including South Africa, Russia and China get underway in waters off South Africa's east coast today, despite U.S. concerns and Ukrainian condemnation; Heads of state and government gather in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa for the annual African Union summit amid calls from across the continent to step up efforts to ensure lasting peace in the East African nation; And, General elections will be held in Nigeria on Feb. 25 to elect a president, vice president and members of the Senate and House of Representatives.
