On Daybreak Africa:
World Health Organization authorities Wednesday declared Uganda free of the Ebolavirus after the East African nation went 42 days with zero infections but recorded a total of 55 deaths over a period of four months.
Ethiopian federal forces report that their former rival Tigray forces have started handing over their weapons as part of the African Union led peace deal which is focused on ending the two-year civil war in the region.
