On Africa News Tonight: Authorities under the Economic Community of West African States this week agreed to establish a regional peacekeeping force focused on fighting terrorism and restoring democracy in the region, especially in countries going through a transition after a military coup. Officials at the U.N. Refugee Agency report the displacement of at least 20,000 from South Sudan’s Upper Nile State, who are fleeing escalating conflict in the region and fleeing into neighboring Sudan.
