South Sudan in Focus: The United Nations Mission in South Sudan says cases of conflict-related sexual violence are on the rise in South Sudan despite an overall decrease in the number of civilians affected by violence across the country; Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is expressing concern over what it says is an alarming increase in malnutrition cases among children in various Sudanese states; Some Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) fellows from South Sudan say they would like to use the knowledge and skills they’ve learned in the U.S. to make a positive impact on the lives of people back home.
