Kenya's world record holder and two-time Olympic marathon champion, Eliud Kipchoge, is one of the nominees for the 2021 Male World Athlete of the Year award. The 37-year-old Kipchoge has won the award twice previously, in 2018 and 2019. World Athletics will announce this year's winner on December 1. On Monday's show, VOA's Gwen Outen has a feature on Kipchoge, who has been described as, "The Monarch of the Marathon."
