UN Security Council pledges support for SADC’s Congo mission
The United Nations Security Council says it will support the Southern African Development Community Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Council adopted a resolution Tuesday authorizing the UN Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) to provide operational and logistical support to the SADC Mission in the country.
