If all goes as planned, Sierra Leone’s Tripartite Committee, established to review the country’s electoral systems following the controversial June 2023 presidential polls, is supposed to submit its report Wednesday. It is made up of seven members from the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party, seven from the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP), and one member representing the international community. Now, the opposition APC has suspended its participation.
