Nigerians mourn protest victims
In Nigeria, today is the day of mourning for those killed during the EndBadGovernance protests around the country. Nigerians are asked to wear black to honor the dead. This comes as President Bola Tinubu appealed to Nigerians for the second day this week to abandon protests and give his administration’s reform policies time to work. Peluola Adewale, National Mobilization Officer of what he calls the Joint Action Front, tells VOA’s James Butty, the 10 days of rage will continue until Saturday, and thereafter, the organizers will decide what happens next
