Lake Victoria becomes haven for organized crime
Several agencies say Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa, has become a convergence point for organized crime. Researchers say criminals are targeting weaknesses in the security operations of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania to exploit Lake Victoria’s ecosystem for profit. Darren Taylor reports.
