Kenya’s speaker unveils Deputy President’s impeachment motion
The speaker of Kenya’s parliament says Kenyans will weigh in on the impeachment proceedings of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua beginning this Friday, October 4. This, after the motion to impeach the Deputy President was made in parliament on Tuesday. The motion to impeach was made by Honorable Mwengi Mutuse (moo-TOO-she), a member of Kenya’s ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA). He explains the charges.
