Africa 54: International Fund to Resume Investments in Drought-plagued Somalia & More
The International Fund for Development (IFAD) says it will resume its direct investments in Somalia after loan arrears resulted in a three-decade-long suspension; More than 20 acts from across Africa supported victims of conflict at a recent music festival in eastern DRC, taking the stage despite rising insecurity in the area.
