Guinea Junta: One Year in Power
Today marks Guinea’s military junta, led by Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, its first year in power. The junta has been engaged in a back-and-forth with ECOWAS for a transition for civilian rule. For more, VOA’s James Butty spoke with Fria Barry about junta’s failure to deliver on its promises.
