Detained Uganda Opposition Supporters Seek Freedom
Uganda's Minister of ICT and National Guidance, Chris Baryomunsi says the government is not holding political prisoners and that Ugandans are free to join any political party of their choice. This, as a Uganda High Court judge Tuesday set April 8 to hear a petition in which families of 18 opposition supporters allegedly arrested by security agencies have asked the court to declare their continued detention illegal.
